It's hard to believe 2021 has launched MSP CAR SHOWS into our 12th Season producing Car Shows & Family Events in the Dallas-North Texas area! Especially since we produced our first event as a 'favor' to a restaurant that wanted to celebrate its 1st Anniversary with a classic car show. We have been blessed to have grown to 35-40 Events each Season thanks to the many Car, Truck, Bike Show Enthusiasts and our loyal Sponsors that participate in our Events. We appreciate every one of you.
Joshua Forsyth and Danielle Winkler, Owners/Producers
MSP Shows and Events are labors of love from the Forsyth/Winkler family. Josh has been coming to car shows for quite some time, Some of you might remember his tattooed Corvette or his custom motorcycles. His roots are in custom vehicle businesses he created and n now sell custom golf carts. His own participation in car shows is what led to his interest in MSP and eventual purchase from Dan Herod.
Beckie and Russell started their teen years as muscle car enthusiasts Russell’s first car was 66 Got 389 with Hurst four speed T-shifter followed by a 67 Ford Mustang convertible with a 428 Cobra Jet engine. Beckie owned 57 Chevys, Novas, Bel Airs, Corvettes, and her personal favorite she named Zeplin, a 71 Z-28 SS black with white racing stripes. The one that got away was a 69 Camaro convertible RS SS 396 that was completely restored. After we sold the vehicle a collector contacted us to inform us that the engine number was stamped XXXX, which means it was first off the assembly line for an executive. Ouch!
Russell's brother has a Nova race equipped show car in Kansas. Many of you know our cousin Don Clark, who has one of the most stellar collections of show cars and has been featured in magazines and television shows. You can still find him at some local gatherings. His father owned a gas station, and many members of the family lineage owned service stations as well.
So you see, cars are in the bloodline of our family and part of reason we are here today.
We are here to bring fun, friendly competition, and a forum for gathering the family of show car enthusiasts together to promote a culture of beautiful creations and fun experiences with great people.
